Fabrics I have recently fell in love with

Since I am slowly beginning to learn the important factors of what fabrics can do to an interior of a room, I felt that my first blog should be the fabrics that I believe will be an impact on alot of designers projects. Just think, re-upholstering a chair or ottoman, even a settee, fabric is contagious! I encourage anyone to go to your local design district and check out what the stores have to offer.

My first piece I wish to join with you, is a Fabric Sample from Kravet, I think it is fun and would look great upholstered to a side chair.

Allan Knight and Assc. is a showroom I have recently found in the Design Center located here in Dallas, TX and came across the Nancy Corzine Fabrics. They are all so gorgeous, I am honestly happy with the whole collection.

This next piece I thought was very interesting and comes in many different color ways. Would definitely liven up any piece of furniture. I love the way it has a pebble view of inspiration.
Artistic Frame Company: Fabric VK06-28 Shagreen Orange, Width: 54," Repeat: None, Content: toptcoat: 2% PU Face: 73%PVC/Back: PO

Pierre Frey is located at the Culp Associates in the Design District in Dallas, TX. And everytime I am in there I must stop and look at the Pierre Frey collection. I think alot of it has floral design but if upholstered correctly or even used as draperies, this fabric is the right choice.

Well I hope you have enjoyed my first blog dedicated to 4 of my favorite fabrics. Please feel free to leave any notes and responses to these, and if you wish to see anything in particular I am more than willing to look it up and enjoy learning about something new!
